Is the carbon table harmful to health?
Many people mistakenly think that the additive in the production of disposable tablecloths is carbon and consider it a threat to the health of consumers. This is despite the fact that what is used in the respective tables is calcium carbonate, which is very different from carbon.
According to the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet), calcium carbonate causes problems in direct contact with the eyes, direct contact with the skin causes few problems, and eating and inhalation can also cause problems. This is despite the fact that in disposable tables, the consumer does not have direct contact with calcium carbonate. In addition, these tables are often made in three layers, and the layer with carbonate forms the middle layer of the table, which is surrounded from the top and bottom by a cover of polyethylene. In general, due to the low risk of calcium carbonate when mixed with other materials, the use of disposable tablecloths cannot be considered risky.
