Glossy cellophane

Glossy cellophane roll is a packaging plastic and is generally divided into two categories: Stretch and Shiring cellophane. Although these two products are very similar, they have slight differences in terms of raw material and application. Stretch cellophane is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and is a nylon product based on industrial polymers, while shrink cellophane is produced based on polyethylene (PE). In addition, stretch cellophane covers the product due to its elasticity and adhesion, but heat shrink changes its state due to increased temperature and is placed on the product. These two products also have differences in terms of application, which we will explain each of them below.

Stretch cellophane

Stretch rolls or films are a type of cellophane that have large dimensions and wide applications and can be used in large industries. Stretch rolls are used for wrapping and packaging a variety of food, health, pharmaceutical, industrial, household goods, etc. The use of these films creates a protective coating around the goods and protects them from impact and environmental pollution. Wrapping furniture, fabric balls, paper rolls, car spare parts, construction equipment including building materials, building sanitary equipment, etc. are examples of uses for this product.

Heat shiring

Nylon shrink film is malleable and sensitive to temperature changes, so it changes shape at high temperatures (between 160 and 220 degrees Celsius) and can be easily wrapped around the product. Shrink film rolls can be produced in transparent, colored, and printed forms. We have all seen the simple, transparent shrink films that are often used to pack mineral water and soft drink bottles.

But its application is not limited to the food industry. Shrink nylons are also used to create a coating for various health and pharmaceutical products, various home and kitchen appliances, computer and electrical equipment, automotive industries and spare parts and accessories, etc. Colored shrinks are also used to increase the visual appeal and make the packaging more attractive to attract customers.
